The Library of the Institute of Pope John Paul II acquires, collects and stores books with the special attention paid to publications concerning the life, pontificate and the teaching of the Holy Father John Paul II. During the first four months of its activity, the collection reached almost three thousand books, and over two thousand six hundred volumes of continuing publications. Special attention should be paid to documents of social life, archival materials (e.g. photographs, documents) and multimedia. Foreign publications are also very important in the collection.
